Sometimes,where site conditions dictate, conventional swing gates just won’t work. We offer a wide range of solutions including sliding gates. The two main systems for sliding gates are “ground track’” and “cantilever”. Both of which are shown opposite.
Sliding gates offer much higher security and are often chosen for this reason alone.

The main advantages a cantilever system (bottom picture) has over a ground track system is ; much less groundwork involved, the entrance does not have to be level , the surface can be gravel etc plus a track often gathers dirt , leaves and debris which prevents smooth operation of the wheels.
